A Votive Candle Habit 0
Habits are interesting things and can either be bad or good depending on how they affect your life. Habits of votive candle users are interesting because they have incorporated the candles into their lives and use them in many ways. Religious habits are burning votive candles as a symbol of praying for someone or a specific something. Lighting the votive candle instills the act of prayer in the person and would be a good habit to have.
Other habits are using candles to provide fragrance or a scent throughout a house or apartment. Taken to the extreme it’s like someone who uses lots of perfume and deodorant and you start wonder why they just don’t shower more. The same is true of overuse of scented votive candles. They are small candles so they don’t take up much room and before you know it too many of different scents are burning in too small of an area. This would be a bad habit, because it makes other people wonder about, “what’s wrong with fresh air once in a while.”
Lots of craft people incorporate votive candles into craft projects and use them quite a but in holiday decorations. Used in this manner and to make holiday gifts for other people is a good habit as thinking of others more than yourself and doing something beyond yourself shows maturity and thoughtfulness. This is a very good habit to have and an extremely hard habit for most people to get established in their lives, but well worth the effort required to get it going.
Good habits and bad both are alike in that how one occupies their time and where they spend their resources says a lot about that person. Spend your resources wisely and on activities outside of yourself and in a very short all of your habits will be good ones.
