American Fridge 0
Many people in many countries dream of a life with the quality of life that the average American enjoys. Accordingly, they seek to possess the luxury items that a middle class American owns. Chief amongst there are a nice home, reliable car and quality consumer goods. One of the most yearned after items worldwide is the ownership of an American fridge.
To Americans this style of fridge is referred to as the side-by-side fridge freezer. However, to many people in other countries they are called American Style Fridge Freezers. The simple fact that they are named this way speaks volumes about the desire to live the American dream.
These devices consist of one large box that contains both a refrigerator and a freezer. As the American name suggests, the fridge and freezer compartments sit side by side within the box. A separate door is used to pen each compartment. This is different from many other styles of fridge and freezer where the units will be stacked on top of each other, or possibly in entirely separate appliances altogether.
An American fridge is usually significantly more expensive than alternative styles. While this can be a drawback when it comes to being able to pay for one, it does have an upside. The extra money one of these fridges costs usually means the appliance comes with a lot of great features.
Some of the features regular found in an American style fridge freezer include vegetable crispers, automatic defrosting, water dispensers, automatic ice creation and adjustable thermostats. Another big bonus to these units is they have ample storage space in both fridge and freezer, this allows storage of enough food to feed a sizable family.
Ownership of an American Fridge, ever popular, will continue to grow around the world as more people’s incomes grow to be able to support the purchase of this luxury item.
