Drinks Coolers for the Bar Area Assist Your Business

When you run a bar it is important to make sure that there are enough drinks coolers to help keep the bottles of beer or cans chilled for your customers. There are quite a few types of drinks cooler available on the market today, ranging from models you would find in the back shop to front of house models that have glass doors so that customers can see what kinds of drinks are for sale.

Back bar coolers come with either solid or glass doors. The solid door versions keep the cold air inside the fridge a lot more efficiently than the glass door versions. Glass doors on these machines have triple glazing to try to avoid the unit losing heat, although it is not fully effective. Take care when choosing a bar cooler – make sure you know what side the compressor is going to sit on since it will need room to breathe. Blocking the compressor can lead to the machine breaking down very quickly as it will have no way to expel excess heat.

They typically have either swing doors or slide doors – swing doors are more convenient but they need a little bit more space which is something to bear in mind if you have to fit the unit in a small enclosure. The temperature control on the bottom of the cooler will let you adjust for heat fluctuations in the bar area.

The taller coolers with glass doors are great for showing customers what kind of drinks you have available for sale. O f course, the disadvantage of these drinks coolers is that you have to spend a lot of time tidying up the cooler after every few sales. No matter what kind of cooler you go for, both types will cool drinks making them perfectly cold for customers – which is just what they want!
