Cheer Up Your Space With Orange Bedding 0

May5

When it comes to decorating your home or bedroom there are many different ways for you to make your space your own. While you can certainly add pieces of furniture or a piece of fine artwork to your space, the most common thing that people worry about is the colors that they will use. Although it may seem silly to place so much emphasis on the color of your bedroom, studies have shown that our choice of color can have a big impact on our mood. This can mean the difference between creating a serene environment or one that creates a sense of anxiety. Because most people are looking to create a positive atmosphere with their color choices, they tend to choose lighter, happier colors. In fact, it’s not uncommon for people to select purples, yellows and even oranges for their bedroom décor. Yes, you read that correctly – orange!

While it may seem odd to use orange as part of your décor, more and more people are turning to this bright color to give their space a more positive feel. Of course, I’m not necessarily referring to bright or fluorescent orange (though these can also work), but instead about shades of orange. There are many lighter shades that work quite well when paired with pinks, creams and lighter shades of brown. Designers are now moving more toward brighter colors for use in the bedroom, an area where darker colors have traditionally been used to encourage feelings of sleepiness. Another common usage for orange bedding is in nurseries where it can be used as a gender neutral color.

In case you’re under the impression that orange bedding is difficult to find, there are many fine examples online. Simply open up your search engine and type the appropriate terms to discover a world of brightly colored bedding. You can also head to Bedroom Decor Tips for additional decor ideas.
