Comfy Cat Beds Equal Relaxed Kittys 0

May5

Cats can be very laid back throughout the day and some at night. If you do not have a cat bed for them to sleep in of their own, you will often times find them curled up on the nearest bed in the house. They are a lot like humans in the fact that they prefer a soft place to curl up and nap. A great thing to do for your kitty is provide him with his very own cat beds to sleep in.

Cats are very territorial animals. No, they do not bark and pee all over their stuff like a dog. However, once a cat finds a favourite place he will lay his claim on it just the same. They will become very insistent upon staying wherever it is that they would prefer to be. If you do not like your cat hanging out on your bed, the only way that you are going to be able to keep him off of it is by giving him a bed of his own.

There are many different kinds of pet beds on the market. When shopping for one for a cat, keep in mind that cats will often times be partial to a bed that seems to hide them. A cat bed with tall sides such as wicker cat beds will probably work pretty well. In order to get your cat to want to sleep there you may have to do a bit of trickery. If your kitty prefers your bed try placing his bed on top of yours for a few days. This may be enough to get the cat’s interest in sleeping in it.

Another thing that you can try is put the bed in a place of the home that is hidden in a way from the rest of the house. Cats love to be in a place where they think that they can see you, but you cannot see them. Try putting the bed in a corner in a quiet room, or perhaps even in the wardrobe. Providing your beloved kitty with a napping spot of his/her own is a great thing to do. They deserve a bed just like we do and will love it just as much.
