California king-sized beds are a nice touch, but maybe the people you’ll be entertaining only require a single futon mattress to be comfortable. Let your prospective audience help guide you in your quest to provide the most applicable decisions. Your spare room need not be a private retreat resort or a haven for future guests. It can simply be a place where your guests will rest their weary selves for a few hours each night that they stay with you.

Once you’ve settled on a budget, the type of furniture you’ll need, and the probable guests that will occupy that room, the process of actually getting everything set up will naturally fall into place. This will go a long way toward making the actual chore of furnishing your spare room(s) as enjoyable as it can possibly be.
