How To Cook While Camping 0

May26

If you and your family or friends decide to journey out into the wilderness to have a camping adventure, you would be wise to plan ahead as far as possible. You need to pack the right types of food, and bring the right sort of equipment, to make your camping trip as comfortable as possible.

The right type of food usually involves something that’s light, easy to pack, and wont go rotten. If you want to prevent foods from going rotten, you should consider buying a cooler and stocking it with allot of ice pads for the trip. Of course, coolers are usually somewhat large, so if your planning on hiking you should either find a place to deposit your cooler, or not bring one. If you believe it would be to inconvenient to carry around on your hikes, and decide not to bring one at all. You will need to pack foods that don’t need to be kept cool, foods such as oats. Oats are very convenient, due to the fact that they only require boiled water and a little sugar to prepare. If your planning on cooking or grilling meat, you will need a good portable grill.

A charcoal barbecue grill is a grill that relies only on charcoal. The charcoal is ignited, and stays ignited for a very long period of time, excellent for cooking all sorts of meat. If you are in need of a grill, you should consider purchasing the Meco charcoal grill,  this grill is not a portable charcoal grill. Its rather heavy, but its a great grill. It offers approximately 342 square inches of grilling space, and a built in fold able wooden table, which can be used to pile up the cooked meat, this grill is great for BBQ parties.

So, remember to pack only the most convenient and easily cooked foods for a camping trip, but if your planning on going to a camp ground, you would be wise to use the Meco grill.
