Whether snoring is a serious health issue or simply a nuisance, it can rob you and your spouse of valuable sleep. Once sleep apnea, which requires medical attention, is ruled out as the cause, there are a number of options that can help eliminate your snoring once and for all. I will discuss snore guards, stop snoring pillows and even bed sheets in this article.

One of the first things you might try is to use a good pillow. Do you know that most pillow causes snoring problem or make it worse? It’s true. What’s the solution? Use a pillow that elevates your head enough to allow your air passages to remain unblocked. This enables you to breathe without causing your throat tissues to vibrate. (the snoring sound)

You will find that you cease snoring because dust mites and mold just do not survive on silk sheets.

Using a humidifier will keep the air moist and circulating, therefore, your airways stay open and perhaps solving your snore problem. If you choose to use a humidifier make sure you watch the moistness level. If it becomes too moist in your home conditions can produce mold and present another problem!

If all of the above fail, you will require more invasive strategy to prevent snoring. (Chill, need not to worry I am not recommending snoring surgery) All I want to tell you is about getting a specialized medical device like snoring guard, which helps in solving the problem of snoring. It advances the lower jaw forward and keeps the airways open, which is major cause of snoring.

Snoring is a real problem that needs to be addressed. There are three ways you can fix it. You will notice an immediate improvement in your sleep and an increased willingness of our spouse to sleep next to you. Of course there are other methods for solving the problem. Be sure to do your research.
