The latest information on the Apple ipad indicates that the new gadget from Apple will never manage to replace all of the mini notebook computers. Not every application performed by a mini notebook computer can be duplicated on an iPad. So then, what are the saving features of the very small notebook computers?

First of all, an ipad can not be carried around with ease. It is a bit cumbersome and heavy. The owner of an ipad can purchase a special holder for that device. Of course, then the person who must carry around that ipad must deal with many of the same concerns as somebody who must transport a notebook computer.

Second, it is hard to move files back and forth, when using a Windows based home system, in combination with an Apple ipad. The ads for the ipad are a bit deceptive. They make that procedure look so very simple.

Third, an ipad can not replace an ipod as a sound gadget that can make a walk or a workout much more pleasant. A walker or a gym visitor can use a smaller gadget, one with a camera. Any picture taken with that camera can be saved on a desk computer, a laptop notebook or a mini-sized notebook.

Still, the ipad does provide the user of that gadget with many hours of entertainment. Of course, there is a limit to the amount of entertaining software that can be downloaded onto an ipad.

A computer technician, a man who has helped more than one businessperson to rent a laptop, has run up against the limited space on the ipad. He knows a young boy who wants to play games on that technician’s ipad. That young fellow tired quickly of the various comics that are now on that same ipad.

Perhaps that young fellow needs a notebook computer which he can find at most any mini notebook computers stores.
