There is no denying that HDTV televisions look awesome compared to the old conventional sets that we all grew up with. The picture on most of these sets looks fantastic. Some of the artifacts that are typically introduced in this scenario are jagged edges, overall blur and ghosting. If you love action movies and sports a set with a rate of at least 150 Hz will be more than enough to keep you happy but, if you are a very demanding television enthusiast that want the best possible image then a set with a rate of 200 Hz or more is for you.
