Summer Jobs Are Going To Be Hard To Find Again This Year 0
More teens are out this year looking for jobs for 15 year olds and other ages. Many of them will be looking for work for the very first time and are bound to come face to face with a lot of rejection. This means that the summer of 2010 will probably end up being very similar to last year’s summer.
Jobs for teenagers of all ages have been very hard to find for several years now. Kids with connections of some sort are the lucky ones and those without any leads have been coming up empty. The more resourceful a kid is and the harder he or she looks for a job, the better the chance is that they will finally stumble on something and get hired. Unfortunately, many teens give up before they ever get to that point.
Asking parents for help getting a job may seem like something that you don’t want to do but it is a smart move in many cases. Parents might know someone who can get their child a job or at least know someone who knows someone who might be able to get. In 2010, it is all about never giving up and trying to network with as many people as possible.
Jobs for 15 year oldsare harder to find that those for 16 year olds and up because most employers don’t hire kids under 16. There comes a point when companies determine that you are too young and it is often for those kids that are 15 and younger. However, that doesn’t meant that there are no jobs available at all and younger kids can also create their own work if they are creative.
Babysitting jobs and lawn mowing jobs have been favorites for years for this very reason along with anything else a child can do that might translate into money. It is during those young teen years that a child will be rewarded for his or her creativity and it is then that they can learn how much fun it is to be a young entrepreneur.
