Increase Your Adsense Earnings: Finding Content That Pays. A Creative Way To Get New Ideas 0
Finding the content that you need to write that will actually give you some decent adsense earnings isn’t as hard as it seems. I will outline the method that I use here.
1) Decide on what you want to write.
You will get lots of people who would like to tell you that you should search first and then write. However, how are you going to write anything that you aren’t actually interested in. So write what you want to.
2) Search in Google’s regular search engine…
Use a long tail keyword phrase to search. For example, let’s say that you wanted to write about the ancient ‘pig piano’. No joke, it really existed: a piano made of pigs that squealed when you hit them. So you search as an open term (no quotation marks) something like how to make the ancient pig piano. That way you will get a number of quite creative results rather than the mush that seems to float to the top of the search pile! So you have a few sites: simply browse each one starting at the top until you have something that looks like a good amount of content – around 1000 words is about right.
3) Now scoot over to the Google keyword tool and you will use it in a slightly different way than you are used to. Use the website keyword option on the left hand side: click the radio button. Then insert the URL for the actual page where you found the content. Click the appropriate button in the middle of the screen as you would normally. You will get a list of possible ideas that are linked to that website that people search for.
4) Finally change the search type to exact and make sure that you are also showing the CPC value.
What this will give you is a really quick way of broadly looking for the keywords that Google has already found is useful content and connected it with its index of what is being searched for. From this point you simply add the exact phrases to the list on the right, flip back to the regular search tool, and then click the button on the bottom right to find more keywords. You will have to change the search type back to exact again as the drop down reverts to broad for some reason.
Now do your regular keyword research following the guidelines of how to choose high search volume and a cpc of at least 3 dollars.
