Aromatherapy is the treatment of conditions using scented oils. Essential oils don’t just have a pleasant smell – they can treat and heal certain health conditions. With natural cellulite removal, essential oils are absorbed into the skin and help to improve circulation and expel any built up water in the underlying tissues.

To treat cellulite, take 10 drops of essential oil with a cream or base oil, and place it into a bath of warm water. Spend several minutes in the bath, making sure that the water and oil has plenty of time to soak into the skin. Making sure that the bathwater is steaming is a good way to also have the oil move into your system via your lungs.

Grapefruit Oil

This oil is made from grapefruit skin and is well known to help eliminate toxins from the body. The strong citrus aroma stimulates the nervous system and increases blood flow. The increased circulation helps the body to remove built up fluid and toxins from the cellulite problem fat and skin.

Lemon Oil

Lemon oil is used in the treatment of many different conditions. The aroma is fresh and is well known to have antiseptic properties. Lemon oils active ingredients include terpenes and citronellal which activates the immune and lympth system to get rid of toxic fluid. It is generally recommended that people should not expose their skin to the sun for at least 7 hours after using lemon oil.

Rosemary Oil

Rosemary is often found in many different bath and beauty products. This is due to its well known ability to activate the nervous system and warm the body. Like lemon and grapefruit oil, rosemary helps with cellulite removal by increasing the metabolism and assisting the body in toxin removal. You will often find rosemary in cellulite removal cream.

You can combine aromatherapy with other treatments such as cellulite laser removal, exercise, diet and massage.
